Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences

Description of Course
Responsive image

Arts is a field where you can express yourself if you’re highly imaginative and creative. As a student of Arts field, a common question is been asked about what will the student do after the academics or how will that convert into a career. It is a myth that has been carried forward by the community that only a dull students walks through the field of Arts and that a person with an Arts degree won’t be as successful as the opposite fields. But the truth is, if a subject under Arts is taken seriously and professionally then the person can achieve progress and success with his skills and creativity if he’s passionately driven toward his career.
Whether you choose fine arts, humanities, liberal arts or history of arts, the skills acquired are always polished and can be used in various sectors that work both individually and in group. Humanities are academic disciplines that study aspects of human society and culture. The humanities can be described as the study of how people process and document the human experience. Since humans have been able, we have used philosophy, literature, religion, art, music, history and language to understand and record our world. These modes of expression have become some of the subjects that traditionally fall under the humanities umbrella. Knowledge of these records of human experience gives us the opportunity to feel a sense of connection to those who have come before us, as well as to our contemporaries.
The humanities use methods that are primarily critical, or speculative, and have a significant historical element as distinguished from the mainly empirical approaches of the natural sciences, yet, unlike the sciences, it has no central discipline. The humanities include ancient and modern languages, literature, philosophy, geography, history, religion, art and musicology.
