Actor or Actress
Actors express ideas and portray characters in theatre, film, television, and other performing arts media. They also work at theme parks or other live events. They interpret a writer’s script to entertain or inform an audience.
Ballet Dancer
Classical ballet is structured, dances en Pointe, has set costumes, conveys a floating quality and follows choreography that is over 100 years old.
Community Arts Worker:
Community arts workers use a range of art forms, including visual arts, theatre, dance, music, carnival arts and film to engage and collaborate with community groups where there are social, cultural or environmental issues to be addressed.
Dancer
A dancer is someone who uses movements to express ideas and stories in performances. There are many types of dance, such as ballet, classical, contemporary, tap, jazz, ballroom, hip-hop, etc.
Disc Jockey
A disc jockey, often abbreviated as DJ, is a person who plays existing recorded music for a live audience. This involves aligning the beats of the music sources so their rhythms do not clash when played together, or to enable a smooth transition from one song to another.
Model
Models are hired by companies to advertise their clothing or product by way of magazines, television, newspapers, catalogues, billboards, and online. Print models participate in photo shoots, in which they pose for photographers.
Musical Instrument Player
An expert who plays a Musical Instrument like Guitar, Violin, Drums, Cello, Piano, Trumpet, etc. They work with Theatres, Music Composers and Singers.
Musician
A musician is an expert who plays a musical instrument. Anyone who composes, conducts, or performs music is referred to as a musician.
Singer
Singers read and interpret music compositions and vocalize musical sounds with tone and pitch, and uses his or her own voice to produce music. Singers use one or more vocal ranges, such as alto, baritone, or bass in certain music styles, including folk, rock, country, gospel, jazz, or rap. Singers may sing solo or in a group, and are oftentimes accompanied by instrumental music.
Thaumaturgist
A performer of miracles; especially: magician.
Theatre Artist
Theatre artists perform dance, music, opera, theatre and musical theatre, magic, illusion, mime, spoken word, puppetry, circus arts, performance art. The artists perform their work live to an audience.
Video Jockey
A video jockey is an announcer who introduces music videos and live performances on commercial music television stations such as VH1, MTV, Channel V and Much Music.
Auteurist
An artist, such as a film director, who applies a highly centralized and subjective control to many aspects of a collaborative creative work. The term is derived in analogy to a person the equivalent of an author of a novel or a play.
Choreographer
Choreography is an artistic opportunity to express one’s personality through the creation of dance. A choreographer designs and directs routines used in dances and performances. They love movement and the art of dance, but most of all love to inspire others by sharing their creative ideas.
Cinematographer
A cinematographer or director of photography (sometimes shortened to DP or DOP) is the chief over the camera and light crews working on a film, television production or other live action piece and is responsible for making artistic and technical decisions related to the image.
Conductor
The primary responsibilities of the conductor is to unify performers, set the tempo, execute clear preparations and beats, listen critically and shape the sound of the ensemble, and to control the interpretation and pacing of the music. Typically, orchestral conductors use a baton more often than choral conductors.
Director
A director controls a film’s artistic and dramatic aspects and visualizes the screenplay (or script) while guiding the technical crew and actors in the fulfilment of that vision. The director has a key role in choosing the cast members, production design, and the creative aspects of filmmaking.
Film Director

Film Maker
A filmmaker, or film director, is someone who is in charge of making, leading, and developing movie productions. It is a career that allows an individual to use their leadership as well as creative thinking skills to lead and direct major motion pictures or made-for-television films.
Hymnologist
A composer or compiler of hymns.
Music Director
A music director the person responsible for the musical aspects of a performance, production, or organization of music at an orchestra or concert band, at a radio station or at musical activities.
Music Producer
Music producers oversee all aspects of a recording session, from planning the sessions to the finished product. As a music producer, you’ll be responsible for providing instruments, scheduling studio time and handling funding, costs and negotiations. You’ll also work with and coach musicians.
Theatre Director
Theatre directors set their artistic vision for a play, including selecting the cast, collaborating with designers, blocking the play’s movements, leading rehearsals, and monitoring the production’s pacing.
Theatre Stage Manager
The Stage Manager has a wide number and variety of responsibilities, which can be broken down into three primary categories: handling the majority of the administrative duties related to a production, assisting the director during rehearsals, and being responsible for all backstage activity once the show opens.
