How to Choose a Career

Frequently Asked Questions
Marks don’t define potential. Choose your stream based on interests and strengths: Science A-Group for Maths and Science, Science B-Group for Science, Commerce for Maths and Economics, and Arts for English and Social Sciences.
In India, after 10th, students can choose from Science A/B, Commerce, Arts, or skill-based programs like Engineering, Medicine, or courses in areas like Hair care, Event Management, and Tourism.
Many students think taking Maths in 11/12 opens more options, but that’s not true. You can pursue Commerce, Arts, Social Sciences, Law, Business Management, Media, Design, and many other fields without Maths. Entrance exams, whether for Bachelor’s or Master’s, only require 10th-grade Maths, not higher-level Maths. Don’t worry, you won’t miss out.
